5 Tony Robbins Lessons for Entrepreneur Motivation

If you are a person who is looking to start his own business or company, you know you’ve got to invest in it first. Prior to that even, you need to know certain tips and ideas on what to do or what not to do. Tony Robbins is great at awakening that strength within you. You can, for example, take a look at the book “Awaken the Giant Within” to learn how to be able to start a business and make it big beyond your dreams. We’ve chosen a few of Tony Robbins lessons for entrepreneurs on how to reach for success:

1.  “Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.”

Everyone likes to settle down with money fast, but that comes at a price. The price of overcoming your hurdles. There are going to be so many hurdles in your way. All Robbins is asking is for entrepreneurs to focus our resources and time to find the solution instead of moping on about the problem. This lesson for entrepreneurs will help them reach success faster.

2. “There is no such thing as failure, only results.”

This is my personal favorite among Robbins’ quotes. This quote speaks volumes. It is our view to think of our unsuccessful endeavors to be all failures, but that is the beauty of it- we get to re-think about it wholly as a big experiment. Those failures? They are nothing but different outcomes of your ideas, they’re lessons for entrepreneurs to contemplate on. If we can view our failure as something that teaches us, we can surely be able to find a way to reach our goal and vision with better insights.

3. “If you fall in love with your product, you’re screwed.”

According to Tony Robbins, one of the many mistakes that young entrepreneurs make is that they tend to fall for the product they need to sell. Once you do that you ruin your chances of it being sold. You become immune to even helpful criticism. On the other hand, Tony Robbins advises entrepreneurs to prioritize customers – it’s a lesson worth learning. Once you do that, you will be able to modify your product better and it will sell millions. Learn to love the customer not the product.

4. “Pinpoint your threshold of control.

You might have aimed for a small startup and then suddenly the business is booming, cash is flowing in. You might find yourself as the founder of a pretty big company now. You might be freaking out at all this. Tony Robbins says that since you have now reached your threshold, you have to push past it. Looking back won’t help, if you were good up till now you will be better in the future only if you overcome the range of what you think you control. Entrepreneurs must try to go beyond it.

5. “Stay committed to your decisions, but stay flexible in your approach”

How simple is this? A small but hugely impacting life lesson for you. If you have a goal to reach, your determination should be on that goal. Tony Robbins asks entrepreneurs not to forget this. However, if you are not successful once, try a wholly different way to reach it. Don’t be afraid to reach out to new goals.

Tony Robbins has written many motivational books on self help, managing your money and reaching success. His lessons for entrepreneurs are powerful and inspiring. For young people, his words and lessons are golden. He asks entrepreneurs to be brave in the sense that even though we are scared we still find the strength to face our fears and overcome them. That is courage and it defines you, your approach to life and your business.
